Islamabad: The tweet could leave Army Chief VK Singh red in the face, but PPP Chairman Bilawal Zardari Bhutto claims that he intended to portray the patriotic side of the Army Chiefs by this statement. Buoyed by the media coverage given to his tweets and love for Facebook, Bilawal tweeted this immediately after returning to Pakistan after his maiden visit to India.Image

Alarmed by this, The Indian Government has decided to send the Army Chief on a vacation to Pakistan till May 31, the day he is to retire. The Indian Intelligence has gone a step further and has demanded the Gmail, Facebook and Twitter passwords of the Army Chief to keep a tab on the exchange of pleasantries between him and Bilawal.

Facebook however has jumped to the defence of the Army Chief. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook said in a statement, “Till now employers wanted the Facebook passwords of new employees. Now they want the password of someone who is to retire in less than two months. We are planning to ban PM Manmohan Singh’s page from Facebook.”

The young political leader Bilawal Bhutto had earlier tweeted his mother Benazir Bhutto’s quote, “There is a little bit of India in every Pakistani and a little bit of Pakistan in every Indian.” The tweet had found mention in major dailies of the two nations.

“I wanted a repeat of that fame. So, I tried to get creative this time, though it was on the same lines of the earlier tweet. I apologize to the Indian Government for scaring the shit out of them”, tweeted Bilawal immediately after the furore.

Congress leader Digvijay Singh has once again decided to use this issue to his advantage (or disadvantage?). Comparing himself to Bilawal Bhutto, he told the media, “You say I have no control over my mouth. But Bilawal has no control over his fingers.”

Shekhar Gupta, the editor of The Indian Express who recently broke a story of the Army moving its troops towards New Delhi feels the tweet vindicates him and the newspaper’s credibility. “But we broke it first”, was all Shekhar Gupta texted back to Bakchod Khabar.

Fresh reports coming in say that VK Singh has posted the picture of Sachin Tendulkar’s injured middle finger in response to Bilawal’s tweet.

Note: This news story has got nothing to do with reality. This is just a figment of my imagination. Laugh and let laugh.
